My Story…
I’ve suffered from migraines for over 20 years. The journey has been a rollercoaster. Doctors telling me, “Well, that’s all I got. I don’t know what to tell you.” Or “You’re young! You’ll be fine.” Having an invisible illness is difficult. After all the doctor visits and giving up at some points, I’m so glad I decided to continue to speak up for myself. I think I’m finally on my way to being better thanks to WVU Neurology. I’ve never felt more heard and seen than I do now. That is why I decided to get involved with Miles for Migraine. My doctor cares and believes me. Every symptom, every side effect, every-thing is taken into consideration. *I* am taken into consideration. And no matter where you are on your migraine journey, I hope that you will be heard, seen, and believed with the staff at the Headache Center. Please consider making a donation to support their free programs & services or the research being done right here at WVU. Every $5 helps.
